About Nella
Nella Ciciulla-Albrecht, LMHC-QS, CFMHE, CFNIP, CCCE
Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Forensic Mental Health Expert | Ph.D. Candidate
Nella Ciciulla-Albrecht is one of Florida's few licensed mental health professionals operating at the full intersection of clinical practice, forensic evaluation, and legal consultation. As founder of Lighthouse Resolution Group and President of Bella Psychological Services, she has built a dual-platform career: one focused on therapeutic services, the other on the exacting demands of court-involved forensic work.
Nella holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. She is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Northcentral University, with a dissertation focused on co-parenting treatment programs — research with direct application to her forensic custody and reunification practice.
Her credentials are deliberately stacked for the forensic arena. She is a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE), a Clinical Forensic Neuroscience-Informed Practitioner (CFNIP), a Certified Child Custody Evaluator (CCCE), a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, a Qualified Parenting Coordinator, and a Qualified Supervisor for licensed mental health counselors under the Florida Department of Health. She is Court-Appointed as a Juvenile Competency Evaluator for the 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Nella's reports are testimony-ready by design. Attorneys who retain her receive evaluations that integrate clinical findings with legal relevance — documents built to withstand cross-examination, not just satisfy referral requirements. Her background as a former Forensic Mental Health Director for a non-profit agency, where she oversaw acute care and forensic programming, means she understands the operational realities of the legal-clinical interface that most private practitioners don't.
She is trained in the Collaborative Law model and participates in collaborative family law cases across Brevard County and neighboring jurisdictions. As an Adjunct Professor at Florida Institute of Technology, she teaches psychology to undergraduate students — reflecting a commitment to building the next generation of practitioners alongside her own active caseload.
Nella is available for expert witness retention, forensic consultation, speaking engagements, and media commentary on forensic mental health, family court psychology, and court-involved clinical practice.
